My little brother’s teacher gave these out to his entire 1st grade class

Probably playing on the kids whole 6-7 slang thing they’ve come up with. But I have no idea what it means. I’m confused every single time I hear it.

    2. Funny and a great way to show kids you know what’s going on while taking it in a new, educational/supportive direction. I like the creativity of it.

My first thought was first grade seems too young for this meme, but I guess they are all 6-7 years old.

    4. This is a win-win. Either it genuinely helps encourage kids to come to school, or they now see the meme as cringe and drop it. They might be a bit young for the latter tho…

    5. Glad this teacher is letting the kids enjoy their in-jokes. It’s been hilarious watching fellow millennials freak out about a silly meme.

Guess some people forgot how many dumb memes our generation had? Remember reposting Advice Animals? Remember incessantly quoting Charlie the Unicorn, badger badger badger, peanutbutterjellytime, and I Am Le Tired? Remember screaming BEEEEES? from Cards Against Humanity?

That was all us. A constant barrage of this, for years. We were cringe af. Gen A has like 1 viral meme. Let them enjoy it.

I don’t care that kids are doing 6-7 or whatever they call it. Kids do stupid things. I did stupid things as a kid. That’s normal and expected childish behaviour

But I’m not really on board with adults encouraging their childish nonsense. Just smile and move on to the next thing, or else kids will utterly latch on to anything they think you find even the slightest bit entertaining, and before you know it it’s an international phenomenon

    7. Must be in a school district near me, my kid’s 67th day was yesterday.

      Canada, by any chance?

Thank god referencing multiple decade old Simpsons episodes will never go out of style 😎

    9. I’m 31 and this is genuinely the first time I’m out of the loop on a meme. It is so fucking funny that people 30+ are not realizing the meme is the meme and we’re all just getting old. 6-7? It’s Cartman bruh lol
